Merit Scholarships

AIBM offers merit scholarships to encourage meritorious students. These merit scholarships are initially based on the marks obtained by the students in the bachelor’s degree program.

General Merit Scholarships

Students who secure 60% and above marks overall, in their bachelor’s degree program are eligible to receive scholarship amounting to 25% of tuition fee; while students who secure 70% and above marks overall in their bachelor’s degree are eligible to receive scholarship amounting to 50% of tuition fee.

Merit Scholarships for Women

AIBM has instituted merit scholarships to encourage meritorious women students. Women students who secure 60% and above marks overall in their bachelor’s degree program are eligible to receive scholarship amounting to 35% of tuition fee and those who secure 70% and above marks overall in their bachelor’s degree are eligible to receive scholarship amounting to 60% of tuition fee.

Students who are appearing or awaiting results of their final year bachelor’s degree examination may also apply for General Merit Scholarships and Merit Scholarships for Women based on their cumulative marks obtained up to and inclusive of pre-final year of their bachelor’s degree. Such students will be awarded scholarships in the first semester on a provisional basis subject to satisfying the eligibility criteria for merit scholarships after declaration of their final year results.

Any student will be eligible for only one type of merit scholarship. Awardees will have to maintain a prescribed minimum CGPA to continue receiving merit scholarships every semester.

Student Assistantships

During 2nd year at AIBM , selected students will be offered Student Assistantships to support the faculty in research and tutorials for selected first year courses and to assist in the computer lab. Such students will be offered a stipend of Rs.3,000 per month. AIBM Scholarship Committee will assess the applicants and recommend assistantships for each semester.

Students will have to apply separately for each scholarship and assistantship with the necessary supporting documents. AIBM does not undertake any responsibility to offer any scholarship or assistantship on its own. Decision of AIBM Scholarship Committee is final and binding on all applicants for scholarships and assistantships.
